I first met Sam, of Emma Dane Design, at a trade show. From the start I knew that she was a professional who actually cared and listen to the client. I have talk to other design firms and the customer service, if you can call that, was lacking. Sam was able to listen to what I wanted to have done, kept the budget to scale and offered much needed professional advice. The end result was my dream kitchen and bathroom. I was so happy with the work that Emma Dane Design did in renovating my kitchen and living room, that two months later I had them renovate my bathroom and convert my large, but largely unusable, balcony into a beautiful sunroom. My condo is now open, bright, beautiful, and functional. Having Sam as the general manager meant I could go to work everyday and not worry about what was happening at home. Our weekly on-site meetings gave me a chance to have any questions or concerns responded to promptly. Furthermore, everything was done within the time frame that Sam had laid out.

Sam and Cara did an amazing job. Their design for the remodel of our kitchen was both practical and sensitive to our needs as a young and growing family. From taking the time to watch us use our existing space to getting a comprehensive understanding of what we needed for our new space, they hit the design requirements on the head. The result? I found Emma Dane Design because of an extremely positive referral from a friend. Sam, Cara, Scott and company have totally changed the way I use and think about the first floor of my house. They have taken the space in my kitchen, powder room and laundry room from an early '80's disaster to a calm and functional contemporary oasis. The entire process, from design through construction, was handled in a very professional way. The project was completed on-time and on-budget. Most important and much appreciated - the entire team worked hard to minimize the disruption for myself and my family (two golden retrievers and a tabby cat). Thanks for the gorgeous photos you sent us of our great new kitchen.
Monika and I would like to say how much we appreciated your professional approach to the difficult tasks of decision making on our part; and of managing resources in our extensive kitchen makeover.
We liked your process of preparing a couple of design drawings and plans from our inputs... which we paid for up front. This set us up on the right track; and of course we liked your designs. They matched our wishes and helped us focus on what we really wanted from a working "two cook" kitchen.
You managed our expectations of the sequence of events and payments very well. When one of your suppliers ran into a problem with colour matching we were relieved that we had contracted with you and not some of the other companies we had interviewed in the early planning days. You came through with flying colors.
We'd like to compliment you also on your choice of subcontractors. Electrical work and cabinet installation work were particularly outstanding.
Most of all we thank you for the end result!! Our dream kitchen is better than we had dreamed of. The transformation from old kitchen and dining room to new gourmet kitchen has all our friends using the "oh wow" phrase rather a lot.

We absolutely LOVE our new kitchen! Samantha and staff worked hard to transform our small outdated kitchen/dining area into a beautiful gourmet kitchen that is both functional and simplistically modern. Other small touches Samantha suggested allowed for the kitchen to flow well with the rest of our home. Samantha is very conscientious and ensures that a strong work ethic is combined with quality craftsmanship throughout the renovation project. We are so happy that we chose a designer and a construction team that work together to ensure that the final outcome is what we had agreed to in the planning process and completed on time. We spend more time in our kitchen now and are truly pleased with the outcome!
